SAIPEH is a local NGO based in Mumias town, Kakamega County and operates in Kakamega, Siaya, Bungoma, Kisumu and Busia counties.SAIPEH was started by university students in 1995 as Student AIDS Intervention Prevention Education and in 2006 it was transformed into an NGO and renamed.

Awards.

- SAIPEH won a Commonwealth Silver medal award, African region in 2005/2006, the only organization that won in Kenya for successfully implementing an integrated community approach in HIV&AIDS and support project.

- SAIPEH was awarded a certificate by Ministry of Agriculture in conjunction with Food Agriculture Organisation (SAIPEH) in recognition of outstanding performance in improving food security in 2007 during World Tele-food day.

- SAIPEH was recognized by the Ministry of Education in 2007 for its contribution towards education and HIV&AIDS education in schools.
